Kitchen Equipment: The Care Centre is proud to be providing freshly cooked nutritious food to our residents. However, our kitchen equipment is twenty years old and beyond repair. We are raising funds for 2 new stoves and 2 mixers to sustain our ability to provide nutritious culturally familiar food for our residents that promote their health and emotional well-being. Cultural focus: Recognizing the importance of culture and spirituality in seniors’ lives is a fundamental part of our community vision of seniors’ care and our identity as an ethnic home. Our culturally specific celebrations, the maintenance of our Chapel and our liturgical services are only possible with donor support. We also provide ethnic food, which is more expensive than the government allotment for food per resident. Click here to donate today!
